La Nouvelle École is a vibrant and nurturing haven located in the beautiful cities of Geneva and Paris. Our Paris and Geneva International schools offer a unique French/English bilingual preschool and kindergarten for children with a foundation in Montessori values; personalised education based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning, collaboration and community.
Our founder is passionate about preparing our children to be the leaders of tomorrow, so at La Nouvelle École, our children not only learn skills for life but are provided with a range of opportunities to discover their talents whilst learning to become custodians of our beautiful planet through our unique ‘Eco-Programme’ of study.
Through a blend of active pedagogies (Reggio, Montessori, Freinet), we focus on a child-centred approach to learning, where the teacher acts as a facilitator and guide in the learning process, supporting children as they develop their confidence and love of learning.
A word from the founder
La Nouvelle École was born out of a genuine concern for the future of our children, with a commitment to paying particular attention to their well-being and that of the planet. La Nouvelle École has developed an eco-curriculum with the support of the Albert II Foundation, where learning revolves around knowledge of marine environments. The classrooms at our Paris and Geneva international schools are unique, featuring clean air. All our furniture comes from sustainable agriculture and sustainably managed forests, using low-emission materials. (The manufacturer strictly prohibits using unknown products and allows only ecological and safe materials for our children.) All our classroom furniture is LEED certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). La Nouvelle École supports manufacturers who respect nature. Through education at our Paris and Geneva international schools, students will have the foundation to become future entrepreneurs and agents of change in a natural environment, respecting their planet.
